Reflection

Greece is a country that has spends so much of its time reflecting on its bountiful past that the current economic, political, and society issues are disregarded. Every day people are struggling with their every day lives, working tirelessly to live in houses far past what one can afford for a state that disregards their issues. All around the world, places that strife with struggles use art as reprise. Jazz, zouglou, reggae, trap, metal, rebetika. These genres came from people trying to express their struggles in the world in a joyful way that connected with the people. Greek hip hop aims to do the same thing. Describe the struggles of daily life and rebel against the man in a way that people can relate to and enjoy.
